30 Yard Dumpster FAQ

Permitting needs are based on where your rental dumpster will be delivered. In most cases, a dumpster placed on private property will not need a permit. However, a dumpster placed on a public right-of-way, such as a sidewalk, alley, or street could require a permit. If this is the case for you, plan on discussing your dumpster placement with your city’s public works or building department. If a permit is needed, plan for a 3 to 5-day wait for a permit. You should also check with your HOA to find out if any other permissions are needed from them.

Our 30 yard dumpster is one of our largest, measuring 22 feet long and 8 feet wide. You’ll probably find that it won’t fit completely on your driveway. This dumpster can be easily delivered onto the street in front of your property. In this case, a permit may be needed and would need to be secured in advance.

The large capacity of our 30 yard dumpster gives you the ability to toss large amounts of trash and debris. This size is ideal for smaller amounts of heavy material, such as dirt, rubble, and roofing shingles. It also works well for larger items like big pieces of furniture. With this container, you can tackle big clean-ups, larger remodeling projects, and new construction project.
