Dumpsters are named after the amount of volume in cubic yards. Example: A 30 yard dumpster holds 30 cubic yards of debris.

How Much Does it Cost for a 15 Yard Dumpster Rental?
Samson Disposal has a large selection of dumpster sizes, including our popular 15-yard size. Rental costs are determined by the size of the dumpster, your home or job site location, and how long you’ll need it. Our flat rate includes free delivery and pick-up for a standard 14-day rental period. We work with you to avoid weather delays for pick-up at the end of your job. Plan on accounting for any extra charges due to severe weather delays. If your job goes longer than the standard length of time, you can extend your rental period for a low rate.
The base price of your rental dumpster container includes a generous weight allotment. The weight is determined at the landfill when our truck is weighed upon entry and exit. If you have heavy debris, we will prorate the overweight fee per additional 2,000 pounds.

15 Yard Dumpster FAQ
Do I Need a Permit for a 15 Yard Dumpster Rental?
If your rental dumpster will be delivered onto private property, in most cases you will not need to pull a permit. If the placement of your rental dumpster will encroach on a public road, street, alley, sidewalk, or public common area, then you should consult with your local or county building department to determine any permitting needs.
There may be additional restrictions or regulations if you live in a covenant-controlled or HOA community. Before scheduling delivery, you should consult your HOA bylaws to determine if you need advance permission for a rental dumpster on your property.
Can the 15 Yard Container Fit on My Driveway?
Our 15-yard dumpster is one of our most popular sizes for home projects. It measures 16 feet long x 8 feet wide x 4 feet high. It fits well on a single car driveway and can be placed completely on one side of a two-car garage driveway. This allows you to still park your car or access your garage. If you do not have room on a driveway for your rental dumpster placement, we can deliver it onto the street area in front of your home.
Will This Size Be Big Enough for My Project?
We know it is important that you get the proper sized dumpster for your job. Too small, and all your debris won’t fit. Too large, and you’ve then paid too much for what you don’t need. Our service team has worked for years with customers and has the experience to help you determine the size you need. Our 15-yard size container is great when you are doing a single room remodel, handling a rental home clean-up, discarding old furniture and junk, or have a bunch of landscaping debris like tree limbs and bush trimmings. Just let us know what your job is, and we’ll get you the right sized dumpster at the right price.
Are There Any Prohibited Items I Should Know About?
Due to local, state, and federal regulations, there are some items that should not be tossed into your rental roll off dumpster container. These include flammable materials, such as fuels, propane tanks, and gasoline. Other items to keep out of your rental dumpster include liquid paint, pesticides, medical waste, old tires, and sealed drums. Large bulky items, such as old mattresses or appliances, may not be accepted at your local landfill. If you are unsure about any specific material or item, call us to determine a safe method of disposal.
Do I Need to Be Present When the Dumpster is Delivered?
Our operator does not need to get a signature for delivery. We are able to deliver to your home or business without someone there to accept delivery. This makes it more convenient for you, as you don’t have to take off work or arrange for someone to be at your home all day, waiting on your dumpster delivery.posal.
What if I Need the Dumpster for Longer than 14 Days?
If you know that you will need your rental dumpster longer than our standard 14-day rental period, just let us know when you order your dumpster. We can set a later pick-up date and will include extra days at a set rate of $15 per day. If you run into weather or construction delays, give us a call to delay your pick-up. Any delays that are not pre-scheduled will be charged extra fees for late pick-up.
Can I Get My Dumpster Today?
When you call to place an order for a rental dumpster, our team works with your schedule to get a delivery date set up. Next-day delivery is often available. Same-day delivery is not usually available or guaranteed, but our team members are happy to schedule you for the first available delivery time and can check for any open same-day slots.
Can I Fill the Rental Over the Top?
Your rental dumpster should not be loaded over the top fill line. This ensures that our truck operator can pick up and transport the dumpster safely, not only for the driver, but for others on the road. If your dumpster is over-filled, you may be charged a fee.
